Privacy Notice
How we handle the information you share with us.
Last updated: 24 September 2026
This notice explains what personal data we collect through vardelongroup.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible for your data
Until Vardelon Group’s operating company is established, this website is operated by its founder, Balázs Tankó, who is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at info@vardelongroup.com. When the operating company is established, this notice will be updated to name it.
What we collect
- Enquiry forms. When you contact us through the business owner or investor enquiry forms, we collect your name, email address, company or organisation, country, your role or type of investor, and the content of your message.
- Email. When you write to one of our email addresses, we receive your email address, name and whatever you choose to include.
- Insights updates. If you subscribe to updates, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name.
- Technical data. Our hosting and security systems process technical data such as IP address, browser type and request logs, which is necessary to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
Please do not send us confidential financial or commercial information about a company through the website forms. If a conversation becomes serious, we will agree a confidential channel with you.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and continue a conversation you have started, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
- To send you Insights updates you asked for, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time using the link in each email or by writing to us.
- To operate, secure and improve the website, on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Where analytics or other non-essential cookies are used, only with your consent, which you can give or withdraw through the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a)).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and our email, acting on our instructions: our web hosting and email provider (Namecheap, Inc.) and, where you have consented to analytics, Google. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, the transfer relies on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data where required by law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and related correspondence: for as long as the conversation is active, and then for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is needed to establish or defend legal claims.
- Insights subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Technical and security logs: for a limited period, typically no longer than 90 days.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to your personal data, and to have it corrected, erased or restricted. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests, ask for data portability, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@vardelongroup.com. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Hungary this is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), naih.hu. You may also contact the authority in the EU country where you live or work.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are used to make the website work and keep it secure. Any other cookies are set only after you consent through the cookie banner, where you can also change your choices at any time.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when our practices or our legal structure change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
